The first Winelands Bicycle Map is finally available!
The Winelands Map is the second map in the series produced by RideYourCity - the first being the very popular Cape Town Bicycle Map.
The maps were developed to encourage more people to cycle as a mode of transport. They aim to do this by:
- identifying a network of safer, connected routes
- locating bicycle lanes and parking
- educating cyclists about their rights and responsibilities
- informing cyclists about bicycle signage
The Winelands Map includes mountain biking trails in the area, and indicates which wine farms welcome cyclists.
Safe cycling routes are marked in and around towns, with detailed sections of Paarl and Stellenbosch, as well as the Canal Walk cycle routes.
The maps retail at only R55 each, and it is possible to place a bulk order (10 or more) for a wholesale price.
