ELMA POLLARD

"What can I say about Elma Pollard? Is she an educator, reporter, recycler, a writer, an activist even? She is all of these, and more. What I have admired most since meeting Elma over six years ago is her integrity and conviction as an environmentalist.

Elma is a doer as well as a theorist = a professional in every sense of the word. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty. She walks the talk. Elma is very thorough in what she does, and will not compromise quality for the sake of quantity." - Rodney Leak from Environmental Action and former director of the Fairest Cape Association.
