| Description: | Renewable Energy Training Workshop: Skilpadvlei Conference Centre, Stellenbosch Develop and enhance your knowledge in renewable and sustainable energy in support of accelerated and shared economic growth in South Africa while earning CPD points. Stellenbosch University will present a five-day training workshop in renewable and sustainable energy technologies in Stellenbosch. The aim of the five day training workshop is to enhance the capacity in the country to implement projects in this field. Each day is also registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) so that participants from industry can earn Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points – 1 credit per course. The workshop will be from 26 to 30 August 2013 covering the following areas: (as separate courses) Introduction to Renewable Energy Technologies 26 August 2013 Renewable Energy Policy & Finance 27 August 2013 Solar Energy Technologies 28 August 2013 Wind & Hydro Technologies 29 August 2013 Bio-energy Technologies 30 August 2013 All the courses will be presented in English by specialists in their field. The venue is at Skilpadvlei Conference Centre close to Stellenbosch. The workshop is structured in such a way that one can pay and attend for either one, two, three, four or all five days as indicated below (University courses are exempt from VAT): One day: R 2 500 Each consecutive day R 2 000 Certificate(s) of attendance from Stellenbosch University will be issued on request and at additional cost.
