| Description: | For a soulwarming experience this winter, visit the the Gardens Life.Style & Eco Fair, City Bowl (NEXT EVENTS 2012: 1 July, 5 August, 2 Sept, 7 Oct, 4 Nov) Since May the Life.Style & Eco Fair (previously the Obs Holistic Lifestyle Fair) has been reincarnated in an amazing new City Bowl venue, the centrally-situated, spacious and lush setting of Gardens Commercial High School in the City Bowl, Cape Town. On the first Sunday of every month, come rain or shine (10am-4pm) this fab new space adjacent to the Company Gardens, off Paddock Avenue and Hatfield/St John’s streets (next to the SA Jewish Museum and National Gallery) hosts 100+ exhibitors showcasing the latest trends and developments in the world of holistic, health, wellness, conscious and natural living. Visitors can also expect to enjoy a great line-up of performers, talks, films and music. Stalls include holistic therapists; life readers; natural, eco and green products; vegetarian, halaal, whole and artisan food; art and bespoke designer décor, fashion and jewellery; bohemian, vintage and repurposed items, body art and design, and much more. The Fair also features lifestyle films and talks, as well as a great selection of laid-back entertainment – visitors get free access to these extra activities on the day (detailed schedule available on our website). Visitors can enjoy a relaxed, friendly and informative day out discovering, eating, socialising, and just ‘being’. Children are welcome to come and enjoy the supervised kids’ activity area. Besides our usual play area (including a jumping castle), we are excited that a team from Kreative Kraftz will be joining the Life.Style & Eco Fair from this Sunday with a dedicated, supervised children's creative play and craft area featuring a variety of activities to keep your little ones busy (including sand art and face painting, but so much more as well!) (well-behaved dogs on leashes are also invited!) Entry to the Life.Style & Eco Fair is R10 for adults; R5 students/pensioners/teens and under 12s get in for free.
