Title: | Veganism and its Benefits for the Environment |
When: | 16.11.2013 |
Location: | Cape Town |
Description: | The Breath of Life institute presents Vegan Awareness Month, a three week campaign highlighting the overall beneficial effects of veganism. The event will take place every Saturday from the 9th to the 23rd November 2013 and conclude on Sunday 24th at the Company Gardens with a sampling day. The aim of Vegan Awareness Month (VAM) is to inform the public on the benefits of veganism. Each week will focus on key areas which are impacted by dietary choices, diagnosing the problem while offering new viable and achievable solutions. The Vegan Cuisine Day will offer patrons a chance to sample an array of tasty vegan treats in a market style family day environment at the Company gardens. A vegan diet is not only a dietary choice but an ethical inevitability. The dis-ease burden placed upon man, animal and environment by an animal based diet can be remedied successfully by a shift towards veganism. VAM will creatively demonstrate and validate the holistic regenerative power of veganism. Join us for a wholesome journey that will touch upon every facet of our daily lives exploring a pathway towards planetary healing.
