Cape Marine and Coastal Educators Conference

MCEN Western Cape welcomes all educators and science communicators to its regional meeting on 14 October, during National Marine Week. The conference will be hosted by the Western Cape Regional Representative, Eleanor Yeld Hutchings.
Join us for a day of learning, sharing, and networking!
The conference aims to promote awareness and education on the coastal and marine environment, and present practical ideas for educating and inspiring your class.

There is place on the RSVP form to indicate whether you want to present a talk or activity/demonstration. We will contact those who want to present.
Also, if your organisation is able to provide any teaching material (educational posters, DVDs, etc), please indicate on the form and bring along on the day. If possible, please provide enough for 50 people. If you are able to provide more, it will be distributed to schools.
This conference is free.
For those interested in MCEN membership subscription, please contact Jone Porter, for an invoice and EFT details (alternatively, cash payment can be done at the conference, receipts will be issued). It only costs R100.
