Cape Town Celebrate Life Festival

The festival is held from 9-10 June at the River Club, Liesbeek Parkway, Cape Town from 10.00-17.00 both days. There will be interesting speakers, both local and international, an eco-quiz with cool green prizes by our editor, a talk on container food gardening, workshops, concerts, exhibitions and stalls on both days.
A circle of green initiatives, including the Green Times, will for the first time join the Cape Town Celebrate Life Festival this year. This festival is ten years old this year, so it’s about time that we bring our eco knowledge into this space of conscious living people. If you would like to join our green circle and take a stand, please contact Caroline as soon as possible, so we can have a strong green presence in this receptive environment.
Come and spoil your body, stretch your mind and feed your spirit. The accent is on all things healthy, sustainable and promoting a celebration of life.
This year’s festival includes a photographic exhibition and a fashion show in aid of breast cancer.
You can also join in the FREE yoga, tai chi, dance, drumming, spirit release and tarot workshops and listen to a concert.
FREE face painting for kids and a film festival in conjunction with Exploring Consciousness from 15-21 June.
This is a weekend for the whole family to enjoy and includes children’s activities. One entrance fee and all talks, demonstrations and workshops are free. Secure parking is available on site.
Tickets are available through Computicket or you can pay at the gate.
Cost: R60 per day or R100 for a weekend pass. Children under 12 are free, students and pensioners half price.
