The Certified Energy Manager (CEM®) is an AEE international qualification R15,950.00 (excl VAT) programme for professionals who require a detailed program of instruction that covers the technical, economic and regulatory aspects of effective energy management. The program offers a comprehensive learning and problem-solving forum for those who want a broader understanding of the latest cost reduction techniques and strategies and goes into technical aspects of significant energy use equipment and processes, electrical and mechanical systems and technologies, electricity tariffs and structures, industrial processes, current codes and standards, maintenance, project commissioning, audits, purchasing considerations, energy accounting, alternative generation, benchmarking, etc – it provides an overall holistic knowledge to energy efficiency and its impact on the whole organisation. Every company using resources should have a CEM® on site.
