GRI Performance Indicators Workshop

Aim of the workshop

This one-day workshop is presented in conjunction with the GRI Certified Training Programme on Sustainability Reporting. Whilst the GRI Certified Training Programme focuses primarily on the principles, processes and stakeholders of the sustainability reporting process, this workshop addresses more specifically the disclosure requirements for a GRI Sustainability Report.

This workshop is not GRI certified. It is recommended that delegates participate in both the training programme and this supplementary workshop in order to reap optimal benefits.

Purpose of Workshop

To familiarise participants with GRI disclosure requirements in general as well as for specific performance indicators in the economic, environmental and social fields, and to expose participants to the use of performance indicator protocols.

What does the workshop entail?

The workshop will consist of interactive presentations as well as group discussions of selected performance indicator protocols.

Who should attend?

Participants from organisations that do already publish sustainability reports as well as from organisations that are planning to go this route will benefit from the workshop. This includes sustainability managers, environmental managers, accountants, communications staff, and other personnel involved in contributing to and compiling sustainability reports, managers overseeing the sustainability reporting process, internal auditors, consultants involved in stakeholder engagement processes, preparing sustainability reports, external assurance of sustainability reports, and evaluation of sustainability reports, as well as users of sustainability reports.

Workshop Fee

A differentiated workshop fee is applied:
For participants who also register for the GRI Certified Training Programme on Sustainability Reporting R 9,350,00 plus VAT for both courses.

For participants who only register for this workshop R 3 850,00 plus VAT.

• A copy of the GRI Performance Indicator Protocols

• Certificate of Participation

Recognition

Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation. This workshop may also earn CPD hours for members of professional accounting bodies.

Registration and Payment

Registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. A maximum of 20 participants will be accommodated per workshop. Participants who register in excess of the first twenty will receive priority for the next workshop. On registration, participants will receive a Tax Invoice.

Registration will only be confirmed on receipt of the full workshop fee.

Accommodation

Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation.
