The REP™ programme is designed to recognise the expertise and experience of professionals involved in the specification and application of renewable and alternative energy technologies, assessment of renewable energy projects, and development of achievable low-carbon and sustainability goals for organisations.

Launched in 2001 as a vision to broaden South and Southern Africa’s pool of knowledge in the energy efficiency sector, the Energy Training Foundation (EnTF) programme has trained 1860 professional and Certified 431 energy efficiency professionals, whom are actively involved in the Southern African energy industry. Of the 431 Certified professionals, 217 are Certified Energy Managers (CEM®s) with 18 energy managers in-training, and the balance contributes as energy auditors and measurement and verification professionals.
