SA Energy Storage Conference 2018

Energy Minister Hon. Jeff Radebe will welcome delegates and make the opening keynote address at the conference.
The South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) and EE Publishers are pleased to announce the full programme of keynote speakers, presenters and panel discussions at SA Energy Storage, SSEG, Micro-Grid & Smart Grid 2018, and the associated concurrent Small Scale Embedded Generation (SSEG) Seminar.
Energy Minister Hon. Jeff Radebe will welcome delegates, open the conference and make the opening keynote address at the conference on Monday 22 September 2018 at Emperors Palace, Ekurhuleni, South Africa.
Department of Energy DDG Mr Jacob Mbele will make the opening address at the Small Scale Embedded Generation Seminar on 23 October 2018 at Emperors Palace, and will elaborate on the broad picture of the Draft IRP 2018 and where Small Scale Embedded Generation fits into the electricity landscape of South Africa, both now and going forward.
The SA Energy Storage, SSEG & Smart Grid 2018 conference and exhibition covers an important enabling energy technology in the electricity utility, industrial, commercial and domestic electricity sectors, within transmission and distribution grids, as well as “behind the meter” on customer premises, in mini- and micro-grids, and in electric vehicles.
In addition, policy, legal, regulatory, technology, research, application, standardisation, financing and procurement frameworks will also be covered.
