A gathering of like-minded people (sanga) in the picturesque village Greyton is happening from the 14-16 December 2013. This alcohol & drug free community event is to “gather, connect & celebrate everything Yoga”!
The Yoga Sanga festival is organised by Martin Combrinck (photographed), a qualified Yoga Therapist from Ananda Sanga Educational Institute (ASEI). “The festival is a celebration of wellness, spiritual expansion and conscious living - through yoga, meditation, ayurveda, music, laughter yoga, kirtan, etc,” according to Martin.
There will also be a variety of talks and workshops offered at the festival e.g permaculture and yoga, how to start a yoga garden, the art of laughter etc. “It is a family event and there will be something for everyone in a beautiful environment, surrounded by mountains,” said Martin.
A variety of different stall & vendors will be available and Greyton is a gem of treasure with all its arts and interesting offerings. Be sure to attend this unique and environmentally friendly festival. Some proceeds of the festival will be donated to the Greyton Transition Town with the aim to work together to achieve sustainability and resilience in the face of rising energy and food costs, economic crisis and environmental degradation.
Day tickets of full weekend tickets are available and must be purchased before the festival.
